Off Leash K9 Training, Jersey Shore trains dogs at 333 Atlantic City Blvd in Bayville, just south of Toms River in Ocean County. Owners drive in from Brick, Forked River, Manahawkin, Point Pleasant and Lakewood, and down from Freehold, Howell, Red Bank and Middletown in Monmouth County. Board and train dogs come to us from further north and west across New Jersey.

We train the dog, and we teach the person on the other end of the leash. Private lessons run in four, six and eight lesson packages for dogs 20 weeks and older, covering come, sit, place, down, heel and shutting down the behavior you want gone. The two week board and train is the program most owners choose when they want the whole job done for them: your dog lives and trains with a professional trainer, works through real distractions instead of a quiet training room, and comes home to a hands-on turnover session with you. Puppies from 8 to 20 weeks have their own track, and dogs with aggression or reactivity have theirs. Every price is on the plans and pricing page.

A shore town is a hard place to own an untrained dog. Between the boardwalks, the beaches, Route 9 traffic and a summer that multiplies the number of people and dogs your dog has to walk past, the gap between a dog that listens at home and a dog that listens anywhere shows up fast here.
