Pulling is the problem people live with the longest, because it does not feel like a training problem. It feels like a strong dog. So the walks get shorter, then they move to odd hours, then they stop altogether. Our leash program is a one week stay aimed at exactly that: an on leash heel with no pulling, no barking at everything you pass, and no launching at people or countertops when the excitement gets away from your dog. It is deliberately narrow, which is what makes it quick. If you want the full obedience picture as well, the two week board and train covers heel alongside everything else.

Leash training programs and pricing
Board and train programs are for dogs 20 weeks and older, which is about five months. Payment plans are available.
1 Week Board & Train (Leash Walking)
One week, on leash heel. Fixes pulling, barking on walks and jumping up. Leash walking only.
Basic Obedience
4 private lessons. Lesson 3 is heel and loose leash walking, plus the other core commands.
2 Week Board & Train
Two weeks immersive. Heel on leash plus six more commands, proofed around real distractions.

Leash training questions
What does the one week leash walking program cover?
The 1 Week Board and Train (Leash Walking) is an on leash heel, aimed at correcting pulling and barking on walks. We also correct over excitement issues such as jumping up on people or on counters. It is leash walking only, with no other commands included, and the e-collar and slip lead come with it.
My dog lunges and barks at other dogs. Is this the right program?
Probably not. This program is built for over friendly dogs that need manners on the leash, not for aggression. If your dog is reactive or aggressive toward other dogs, the right starting point is our aggression and reactivity training, which works at a distance your dog can handle before closing in. Tell us honestly what your dog does on a walk and we will put you in the right program rather than the cheaper one.
Can I learn to do this myself instead of boarding my dog?
Yes. Basic Obedience is 4 private lessons, and lesson 3 is heel and loose leash walking. You get the other core commands in the same package, and you handle the dog yourself throughout, which some owners prefer. It takes longer than a week and it asks more of you between lessons.
What if I want the walking fixed and everything else too?
Then the 2 Week Board and Train is the better fit. It covers heel on leash alongside come, sit, down, place, door manners and off, and all of it is proofed in real places with real distractions rather than in a quiet yard. The one week leash program is deliberately narrow, which is what keeps it quick and affordable, but narrow is the trade.
