Board and train is the fastest route to a dog you can take anywhere. Your dog stays with a professional trainer and works every day, in real places with real distractions, instead of once a week in your yard. Our trainers keep only three dogs at a time, so nobody is sitting in a kennel waiting their turn. When you pick up, you get a long one on one handover session covering everything your dog now knows and exactly how to handle it. If you would rather learn alongside your dog from the start, our private obedience lessons cover the same commands with you in every session.

Your dog stays with a professional trainer for the length of the program. Board and train starts at 20 weeks, about five months old. Younger puppies have their own programs. Payment plans are available.

What does the 2 week board and train cover?
The 2 Week Board and Train teaches seven core commands: come, sit with duration and distractions, down with duration and distractions, place with duration and distractions, heel on leash, door manners so your dog stops bolting through doorways, and off for jumping and counter surfing. Food manners and greeting manners are included, and everything is proofed in real places: parks, trails, neighborhoods, big box stores.
What is the difference between the 1 week and 2 week programs?
The 1 Week Board and Train focuses on home manners and four commands: come, sit, place and down. It deliberately does not cover distracted environments or public exposure. If you want your dog reliable outside, off leash, with distractions, the 2 Week Board and Train is the program that does that.
Where does my dog actually stay?
Your dog stays with a professional trainer at their home, not in a kennel run. Each trainer takes only three dogs at a time, which is what makes it possible to give every dog real one on one work every day rather than a slot on a rota.
What happens when I pick my dog up?
You get a one on one handover session, about an hour and a half after the 1 week program and about two hours after the 2 week program. We walk you through every command your dog now knows, how to give it, and how to handle the situations that used to go wrong. Most of the long term result comes from this session, so plan to be there and to take notes.
