Brick Township is one of the largest towns in Ocean County and one of the busiest we work in. We train Brick dogs out of our facility at 333 Atlantic City Blvd in Bayville, a straight run down the county from you. Private lessons run for dogs 20 weeks and older, board and train programs run one to three weeks, and puppies from 8 to 20 weeks have their own programs.

Why it matters

Why professional training is essential for Brick dog owners

Behavior modification

Resolve jumping, pulling, barking, anxiety, and reactivity at the root, not just the symptom.

Safety & control

A dog that listens the first time is a safer dog around traffic, trails, water, and people.

Stronger bond

Clear communication builds trust, so your dog looks to you for direction instead of guessing.

Long-term results

We transfer the skills to you at pickup, so the obedience holds long after training ends.

Family harmony

A calm, well-mannered dog means a calmer home for kids, guests, and other pets alike.

Training in Brick

Built for how Brick dogs actually live

Brick is a water town with a road problem. The Metedeconk River, Windward Beach and the barrier island crossings pull every dog owner outdoors, and then Route 70 and Route 88 fill up. A dog that pulls is manageable on a quiet street in Lake Riviera and genuinely unsafe crossing a parking lot on a Saturday in July, so loose leash walking is the first thing most Brick owners ask us to fix.

Summer changes the job here. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day the traffic, the crowds and the visiting dogs all multiply, and a dog that has only ever practiced in an empty yard has never really been tested. We train through distraction on purpose, in the kind of environments your dog will actually meet.

Brick also has a lot of big dogs in ordinary family houses. Shepherds, Danes, doodles and rescues with an unknown history are what walk through our door from this town, and the complaints are the same every time: pulling, jumping on guests, and reacting to another dog across the street.

What Brick dog owners say

“The absolute best dog trainers - truly. Our two Siberian Huskies were transformed after two weeks . I can’t say enough about Jason- his love for the dogs was evident and they learned and listened. He guided (and continues to guide) us so that we could reinforce what they learned at home.”

Angela SturmVerified Google review

“We have two female Great Danes Aries and Maxie, Jay was great with them. From the moment we reached out Jen, she was great with answering any questions and making the process easy. Our girls came home and have been having no issues at all since they came home. Listening and following our commands.”

BigDawg78Verified Google review

“When we got back Jennifer showed us all the training she had done and even kept us updated with daily videos of his training while he was boarded there. He walks right on a leash and now I’m able to take him out to public places and he behaves great.”

Frequently asked questions

Where do Brick dogs actually train?

At our facility at 333 Atlantic City Blvd in Bayville, and out in real environments once the commands are solid. Board and train dogs board with their trainer for the whole program, and we never run more than three dogs per trainer at a time.

Do you come to my house for lessons in Brick?

No. Our private lessons are not run inside your house. Our own FAQ page says it plainly: contact your local Off Leash K9 certified trainer for the location of their training, because generally we do not like to train dogs inside the house. Lessons happen where your dog has to behave in real life, and board and train dogs stay with their trainer for the whole program.

My dog pulls on the leash. Which program is that?

There is a program built for exactly that. The one week board and train for leash walking is an on leash heel to correct pulling or barking on walks, and it also covers over excitement such as jumping on people or counters. It is leash walking only, with no other commands included, and it is meant for over friendly dogs rather than aggression. If your dog is reacting rather than just pulling, the behavior modification program is the right one and we will tell you so on the phone.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available. Call us today at (848) 221-5161 to learn more about payment options. Lesson packages and board and train programs include an e-collar and a training leash, and every price is listed on our plans and pricing page.
